Red Oaks Collective was born out of a deeply personal and painful experience that changed our lives forever. After our son—Mitch and Stephanie’s child—was abused and mistreated in a traditional school setting, we were faced with a reality no parent should ever have to endure. That moment became a turning point; it propelled us to take action, not just for our son, but for every child who deserves to feel safe, protected, and valued.

We’re hosting a crawfish boil fundraiser to support the technology needs of Red Oaks Cottage School, where we serve children with special needs and medically fragile needs. On the day of the event, you’ll drive through and pick up 4 pounds of hot, seasoned crawfish along with corn and a potato.

Every child—no matter their abilities, challenges, or medical needs—deserves a community where they are not just accommodated, but truly embraced. Red Oaks Collective exists to be that place—a safe haven where families are supported, differences are celebrated, and children can thrive without fear. This is more than our mission; it is our promise that no family will ever have to walk this journey alone.

She nurtured. Love of painted, created ndd environment of safety, was a Saint in patience, a great listening ear to the stresses of being a mom of an autistic child and friend. I know God put her in this place because she is rocking it on new levels.Posted on Google marilyn worthyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. All the students ant ROC are treated with the highest level of respect, love, and acceptance . My child has thrived since he has attended ROC . Red Oaks Cottage has been an absolutely wonderful place for my child on the spectrum. I couldn’t imagine a better environment to support their individual needs. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, they receive the personalized attention and care they deserve. It’s truly a place where each child is seen, understood, and nurtured.Posted on Google Monique RomeroTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My daughter started going to ROC in January of 2025 after regressing socially and academically at her previous school. Since attending ROC she has blossomed and returned to her sweet silly self. She’s always happy when I pick her up, and loves the students and staff there.Posted on Google Ms Jonathan StellyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
